What to take with you

When you visit the outpatient department for the first time, you have to register at the desk in the entrance hall.
To register, you need to bring the following:
- Proof that you have a health insurance
- A valid identity document (passport, driving licence or identity card)
As soon as you are registered, you can go to the outpatient department. There you will need the following:
- The referral letter of your GP, dentist or midwife
- Any medication you are using or your medicine card
Subsequent visits
During a subsequent visit to the outpatient department, you can go straight to the desk of the outpatient department of your medical specialist. Please bring the following:
- A valid identity document (passport, driving licence or identity card)
- Your appointment card
Escort to the outpatient department
If necessary, a host(ess) can escort you to the outpatient department you need to visit. You can ask the reception desk in the entrance hall to call a host(ess) for you.
